Contact meDirect family - Fidoo FX - The future of online currency exchange
Design Discovery — 2024
In order to determine the future direction of Fidoo FX, we conducted a complete design discovery: from the preparation of qualitative research in the form of in-depth interviews with 15 CFOs, CEOs and senior accountants from various Czech companies, through the analysis and synthesis of the results and a series of ideation workshops, to the definition of three new possible value propositoins and the prototyping of the first of them. The whole discovery was concluded again with cavalitative user testing, which confirmed the suitability of reframing the original assignment in the direction we chose. The cavantitative validation was postponed based on a managerial decision in favor of more research. The results are, of course, still confidential.
My role: Planning and leading the project, contributing to user research, leading ideation workshops, contributing to defining the value proposition, designing lo-fi wireframes and contributing to user testing.
Gen - Avast Secure Browser - Side panel with AI
Design Discovery — 2023
Our task was to figure out how to bring the so-called side panel to Avast Secure Browser and what features (other than AI) to fill it with so that people would start using it actively. Based on desk research and using AI, we identified a long list of potential features, then did quantitative research that helped us define a short list of features. With this in mind, we designed 3 possible ways of integrating the side panel into the browser and tested them with users. Based on the test results, we simplified the information architecture and improved the availability of individual features. After programming the MVP, the test showed that it was possible to improve the availability of the Side Panel from the originally estimated 6% to 40%.
My role: Preparation of work plan, project management, desk research, identification of potential functionalities, research preparation, conducting ideation workshop, defining recommended featureset, information architecture, lo-fi wireframes, preparation of final testing.
Gen - Small Business 10X
Identification of Strategic Opportunities — 2023
Our task was to identify areas beyond basic small business cybersecurity (such as offering antivirus or firewall) to start building a portfolio of related products and services.
We identified, assessed and evaluated a number of strategic areas and within them, specific opportunities that had the potential to support the projected tenfold growth of the Small Business segment over the next 3 years. The result was the identification of 6 key areas of interest with 10X potential and 8 specific "winning" opportunities for further elaboration. One of these was so promising that work on it began immediately..
My role: Preparing methodology, conducting secondary research and facilitating workshops.
MSD - Digitalisation of drug leaflets
Digitalisatioon, service design — 2020
We have been approached by MSD representatives in the Pharmaleger consortium to help them prepare a brief for an MVP to digitise medicine leaflets for a pilot run in Europe. We used a Design Thinking approach and planned a series of online workshops to: map existing processes and identify pain points in them, ideate a new process and then break it down into individual Epics. At the end of the collaboration, our stakeholders expressed their belief that they would not have been able to deliver the MVP assignment without our help.
My role: Preparing the methodology, leading the implementation team, supporting the mapping of the existing situation, facilitating a series of alignment and ideation workshops.
